Hi all,

We have uploaded a new installer for the PC version of Postal 2 that adds a boatload of content, hence the reason the new installer weighs in at 1.8 GB rather than 900 MB like the old installer. Please make sure you have this installer version downloaded: setup_postal2_2.1.0.9.exe <--- this is the latest version :)

We are still waiting on the Mac version of this Postal 2 update so please bear with us :)

Changes for version 1415:

*A Week In Paradise (AWP)*
It is now possible to play POSTAL 2 and Apocalypse weekend in one
playthrough. More than just a simple copy and paste from the original
AWP mod, we have tweaked and improved many aspects of the game along the

*More NPC Dialogue*
The amount of vocal variety has been massively increased, including race
specific dialogue.
5 new voice classes in total! Also adds more situational dialogue for
NPC's such as when they see cats and when they are on fire.

One of the best new features of the Apocalypse weekend expansion pack
was the dismemberment, and we have now rolled it back to the entire

*New Weapons*
Added new weapons (from the Eternal Damnation total conversion) so now
there are more weapons to go POSTAL with:
Axe, Bali, Chainsaw, MP5, Knuckle dusters, Dynamite, homemade
Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Glock, Sawn off Shotgun, Shears,
Baseball bat

*Greater variation in NPC and Zombie appearance*
NPC’s how carry bags, wear hats, shades and sport some funky hairdos.
These are not the somewhat shabby ones you saw in the original AWP mod
but are totally new, made to a much higher standard. We have also
included a much greater variation in Zombies, courtesy again of the
Eternal Damnation modification.

*68 Achievements!*
Fully working ingame achievement menu and pop ups (optional)

*Improved mod support*
Mod support greatly improved with a better in game custom menu to allow
for adding and mixing mods in a modular fashion. Any mods that have been
made with Steam Workshop in mind can be easily repackaged for manual
install into this version.

*Improved modding tools*
Many improvements to the editor, see here for full details

*Improved widescreen compatibility, including tripled headed solutions*
The widescreen stretching and hud issues are now fixed, and we also made
the effort to get ultra wide screen working correctly, should you own an
Eyefinity/Surround/Triplehead set up.

*More Video Options*
Added the much requested FoV slider to the performance menu and V-sync
to the video options.

*Other Minor visual updates*
You can now see through windows, how novel eh? plus some other things
here and there.

*Added an option for micro-transactions*
You can now buy Champ new outfits for 10 bucks a piece, or pay for a 50
bucks season pass to obtain them all as they become available, before
you've even seen what they are. Now you can really dress in style and so
can Champ too! (Just kiddin’, but it shows the sad state of the industry
when you probably half believed that whilst reading it.)

*Tons of bug fixes *
Yeah, we know that’s rather ambiguous, just be assured the game is more
stable and has way fewer bugs across the entire game now after a lengthy
QA testing period.

Thanks and have a nice day :)

Thank you!
Thanks for the update...

Now for the question, are existing Postal 2 game saves compatible with the new updated version?

Or do we get to have the fun of playing again from the beginning?
