Did the update. Paradise Lost shows in the main menu. And when I try to play it says "error launching content, verify your installation and try again."

Verified content...same problem.

Did they check this before they uploaded the update?

**(edit) Well, I noticed the Steam version actually has a "Paradise Lost" folder in the main game folder. But even after the GOG update, there is no Paradise Lost folder in its main game folder. Maybe that is the problem?**

As far as I know, Paradise Lost is actually a seperately purchased DLC that was developed by RWS after the fiasco that was Postal 3 turning out to be.... extremely sub par and not measuring up to expectations (best way I can put it gently). Therefore it's an actual DLC you need to purchase. I don't see it for purchase on GOG yet but this might mean the waiting period for them to get things together for the GOG publication is almost over.

I certainly would buy Paradise Lost again, on GOG that is.I do have it on Steam but much prefer GOG.
high rated
We'll never get that DLC here. The devs simple don't give a fuck about GOG.

Rich (Developer) on Steam:
We've hit several roadblocks in trying to update the game on GOG, and it doesn't look likely that we'll be able to have it done any time soon. Owners of the GOG versions of our games can contact me for a Steam key, as the Steam versions are up to date.
They are always talking about "roadblocks" but they never exactly tell anyone what these "roadblocks" actually look like.
Thanks.

Honestly i've very curious about what these roadblocks are exactly... makes me wonder if i'm voting with my wallet properly.

it's strange he said they hit roadblocks for the update, when the game just got updated here. i wonder how long Postal 2 was at update 5021 on Steam, or maybe pricing is the issue. either way i guess it'll be the usual 'can't say' treatment.
