Has anyone played Port Royale 3? No ratings here yet, any input on this game?

Maybe, because, it does not work under Windows 10.

Where did you get that from? Steam's version works just fine in Win10, and GOG is saying that it is supported.

There are no reviews because it was added today.

It works fine with Win 10.

I'm playing it as I speak.

Not trying to defend the game, just saying there's a problem on your end, friend.

It was added today, I think.

Port Royale 3 is better then 4, but not as good as Port Royale 2.

But it's playable and quite stable. There's that.

It worked out of the box on my Windows 10 machine?

Windows 10 ver 20H2
nVidia RTX 3070 - v461.09
Intel 4790k

The only issue that I saw up front is that it defaults to super low resolutions and doesn't work above 1920x1200 so it's being ran in windowed mode, 1920x1200 @60hz with vsync enabled on my 4k primary monitor.

It bugged out display fusion on my secondary monitor until I switched it to windowed mode.

Yes, but it did not work out of the box in windows 10 Pro.
Today I gave it a second try: I changed my install path manually to .../Port_Royale_3 right now, and now it works fine.
The feedback about steam is correct, there it works out of the box, I own the original CD Box, the Steam-Version and now the GOG-Version. Only the GOG-Version installed via GOG-Galaxy made such trouble.
Funfact: I installed the game in my wine environment after the windows 10 disaster via gog-galaxy and it works out of the box

Ryzen 7 1700
32 GB RAM
Radeon 5700 XT
Windows 10 Pro 20H2, all drivers and BIOS are current release

It's possible that some paths don't work?

Mine is <H:\GoG Games\Port Royale 3>

(I'm using Win10 Pro as well and installed via Galaxy 2_current)

I have it installed on Windows 10 i5 9500 with 16GB Ram and a cheapo onboard Intel Graphics chip (UHD 630) and it runs fine. Just started the tutorials and studying the manual. It appears to be in-depth and should provide many hours of fun. I will post more as I have more time invested in the game. I do have to "Run as Administrator" to launch the game but other than that, no annoyances as of yet.
