the SWAT 2 movies have no sound any reason why? anyone know how to fix it?

I'm actually having the same problem. I've tried compatibility/administrator/etc. Audio works in the rest of the game, but I can't seem to get any audio in the movies.

Same here. Audio is fine everywhere else except for the movies...

Yes The Avi movies use Indeo audio codec 2.5 and can possibly use the indeo video codec too. , but for some reason the video codec works on Vista/7 not the audio codecs.
If you have vista or 7 they would like you to pay about $15. Gog could possibly get permission to re-encode the video without the codec using the files in ivsetup.exe.

It will work in XP/2000 if you install the codec.
I found out too that there are possibly security vulneravilities with the codec so the videoa should be re-encoded in a different avi format, such as XVID or DVD quality. reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indeo and other notes about the vulnerabilities on the web.
I posted more info if needed on quick ways of encoding and decoding the videos.

Here is a fix it on how to remove for older machines: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/954157

Converting the video to another format didn't work it looks like its only set up to encode and decode the indeo video format.
