The long lifespan of the Infinity Engine games can be attributed not only to the customization characters, amazing stories, and sheer amount of content, but also to the massive modding community that has grown alongside Baldur’s Gate and the other games using this engine.

Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition is built on a modified version of the v2.3 Enhanced Edition Infinity Engine code developed to handle the unique challenge of Planescape: Torment. This updated code base means modding the game has become easier than ever!

Not all popular mods for the original Planescape: Torment have received updates for PST:EE yet, like Unfinished Business, which is reportedly being reworked for PST:EE, but there are still plenty of mods available.

The EE version is just a collection of mods anyway.
I'm having an issue with Torment Enhanced Edition, I installed the game and then everytime I launch the game I get this message load library failed with error 1114: a dynamic link library (DLL) initilization routine faliled. Need any help researched the problem and tried compatiblity issues but no known answer. Any help would be apprecitated.
What mods/changes are included in the Enhanced Edition of the game? Trying to decide if I should play the EE or the regular with the mods from here installed

The EE got an engine (low CPU-usage, lag-free, instant loading, ...) and interface upgrade not found in any mods. It got awesome UHD and WQHD-Support if you own such a monitor. Oh, and got stuff like a searchable diary and such things.

Despite this, yes, many options from the fix mods are already included. On top of that, the UnfinishedBuisiness-Mod has been overhauled for the EE. https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/68123/mod-beta-ps-t-unfinished-business-reloaded/p1
I don´t see any legitimate reason why to stick to the original if you own both.
