So I posted a previous problem and did some digging.

the missing libs can be found , if you have steam.

I ran : $ find libssl.so.1.0.0

and did the same for the crypto lib.

I copied both these files (rather than linked them, in case steam is uninstalled / updated), to /lib and /usr/lib

and it worked!

Copied libssl.so.1.0.0 and libcrypto.so.1.0.0 from Steam work well even for Ubuntu 20.10
