Hello,

I preordered the EE of "Planescape: Torment" here on GoG and immediately got greeted by said message telling me "OpenAL" is missing. So I searched around Google, found out that this is a common problem with Beamdog games and that a Baldur's Gate EE suffered from this error as well. Sadly, even though the problem seems to be common, nothing people provide in the internet helps me fix the error message, including developer fixes. There's nothing to fix this in the installation directory, too or an exe for the proper installation of OpenAL like there usually is or should be.

So, please make suggestions on what I could do other than asking the GoG support, since I mostly only get asked to provide my dxdiag and get in contact with the developer itself.

Solved it by installing http://support.focus-home.fr/oalinst.exe a few times and then trying to start it with the client.
