ok so ive been trying to play for about 12 hours now. gog galexy wont install the game, says something about a disc error even though i have tons of room. i downloaded straight from gog not using galexy and the game finally worked. now it wont see my save files. and when i start a new game there is no dialog, no one in the caravan talks to me, no quests, cant shop, nothing. if i save then exit out again file disapears. no idea what to do here.

Which version do you have downloades? 3.01?
