Cool :D

Good job GOG. As soon as the holiday ended the patch was delivered :awesome:
Now GoG learned from their mistakes they should either upload the patch on all platforms at once or none at all.

Hetman: Version 1.0.3.530 of Pillars of Eternity is now available on your gameshelves for Windows (new patch + all-in-one installer), Mac (new patch), and Linux (new tarball archive).
Thanks! But why didn't you make a standalone tarball patch for the Linux version?

And why didn't it flag as a new download....if I wasn't looking for it I would never have known :(
Thank you guys for a new update both on Windows and Linux :)
I don't regret buying that game on gog :)

Hickory: How is it that an 80MB patch, requiring to replace 10MB of files, takes SO long to install? What the heck is going on with your installers, GOG?
They are heavily compressed, maybe? As for that 10 MB notification, I doubt that is truly accurate. Every GOG.com game shows the same.

The installer does not simply replaces the files. It needs to apply binary differential patch to over 9000 files :)
And that's why steam update weights more than 1gb and this is only 80mb I suppose :D
Is anyone else getting an error message installing this? The game version number's been updated so it seems to have installed and the game loads up, but I got this error:

Error modifying C:\GOG Games\Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\resources.assets

EDIT: Never mind, worked fine on the third attempt.

I guessed it was maybe something like that, but even so, it takes as long to patch as it does to install the entire game! 8-o
Thank you for the new linux tarball (although it was not obvious at first glance this was a new tarball...)
Here you go for a Linux patch:

130MB instead of 6.6GB, I hope you’re happy ;)
