In Deadfire, in the save game menu, there are options for deleting games, and for replacing saves.

These give every indication of working when they are used.

However...

When I go to load a game, all the old saves are still there!

Is there any fix for this?

Do you have GOG Galaxy installed ? It's sounds more a problem of synchrony with a cloud server.

Aplomado: Yes, I have gog galaxy installed.
I don't have experience with Gog Galaxy. However, you should search the option to disable the cloud save for the game.
