All files were downloaded through GOG Downloader, not Galaxy since it does not work on my internet.

Here was my load order:

1) Install POE and have it updated to 3.0
2) Install White March Pt 1
3) Try to install white march Pt 2

It says that my current version is not supported, therefore it will not install.

Does anyone have a step by step fix for this issue yet?

Since you downloaded the files via GOG Downloader, please give a complete list of all the file names (including extensions) you have. This is important, to ascertain if you are installing the correct versions.

I had the same issue.

Did you install the latest patch for White marsh Part 1 (Patch 3.0)? 'patch_pillars_of_eternity_the_white_march_part1_2.7.0.13.exe' I missed that one and was getting the same error.
I installed the 3.0 patch for part 1 now Part 2 is installing no problem.

I had the same or a similar problem (Windows version):

"This version of the base game is not supported. Please update your game version with the latest patch."

Installing White March Part 1 patch 3.0, as recommended by Syrian 23, fixed it.
