One fix that worked for me:

Try going in to options and switching to a different resolution. Then switch to your default desktop resolution.

Then go to the font setting and setting it below 110%.

Not sure why but doing those two things solved that audio bug for me.

Clearsong: Whenever I talk to someone, the first couple of words of their speech are cut off.

Several of my friends playing have the same issue. (I checked; they got the game on Steam.)

Is anyone else getting this, or found a solution?

jo3fis: I have the same problem, did you find a solution?
Hasn't happened since I installed Windows 10, though I don't know if it's because of Windows or due to game updates.
