So, I've managed to get killed by Bethina after barely finishing the one before her, so I was thrown all the way back to town and planned on collecting everything, clearing the way (platforms) and then to go back, get stuff and save.
Unfortunately now I have found the barely visible save spot right before the last fight and the teleporter refuses to bring me back but I haven't leveled or bought enough to be able to finish both of those bosses in a row, especcially not without any chance to heal and or restock in between.

So, at the last savepoint, how and where can I rest/heal up, shop and grind?
If this isn't possible it would be the worst gamedesign I've encountered in a long time sind it would literally prevent me from finishing the game since my previous savestates were automatically replaced by the crappy save system as well.

I've also read that Cleoneo isn't supposed to do the insta-kill spell very often but since he does it for me 2 out of 3 attacks, I've used up all the pepper and potions I've gathered throughout the game before even reaching Bethina.
