http://www.wsgf.org/dr/cleopatra-queen-nile/en

It promises to get you one of those resolutions in the game.

Replace pharaoh.exe with the patched version for your screen size. You need the version from cleopatra.7z

Start the first mission then go to Options > Display Settings. Pick 1024x768. This will change the resolution to the patched widescreen.

OMG, looks amazing. Confirmed that 1360x768 works. I look the person who finally hex-edited this exe.
Widescreen resolutions appears interesting,
but do these executables include DRM removal and Gog fixes ?

(It appears to apply to another game version)
I would like to know this too, does the widescreen exe change anything else (DRM, fixes, version number) ?
high rated
lol you are a cautious bunch aren't you .... i can tell you that all they are is hex-edited exe in the case of pharaoh and for zeus he actually re-did the background images aswell and spash images (the appear off centre in pharaoh but its really no big deal)

Bottom line, they work, they are fine, they are the same version as gogs and i whole-heartedly recommend it.

NOTE: You download jackfuste's CLEOPATRA not PHARAOH if you download pharaoh you will get a building model sync error its cleopatra.7z the one you want.

ENJOY!
I cannot see any difference between the Cleopatra 1920x1080 exe and the standard 1024x768. There should be a BIG difference between these resolutions. On Win7 x64. Please advise.

UPDATE:- The problem was caused by some Pharaoh.exe processes remaining in memory. Once these were shut down by using Task Manager, I now have my native res 1920x1080 in all its glory.

I can't get this to work, as soon as I extract the file it gives me errors. When i replace the exe with the downloaded version i get a win32 application error?

help!
Just loaded up a patched Pharaoh, it looks so good!

The only issue that I have is that some of the stuff is glitched up (like a blank space below the menu area and the world map being duplicated). Is there any way to fix these ?

Are you using 7zip to extract the exe or some other application?
Is anyone using the 1600X900 patch? For the most part it works fine for me but I can't use the overlays. if i click the overlays button the toolbar icons freeze. Anyone else having similar trouble or know of a solution? thanks.

You're clicking the wrong button. Click on the actual text for "Overlays" and not the little green button. The green button locks out the menu and creates a little dropdown in the top middle of your screen. Its weird.

I was using WinRAR which might explain it. I'll try 7zip and post an update tonight.

Update: did it using 7-zip and it now works!

Is it normal that the archive only contains exe files, while the patch for Zeus contains exe and image files?
