Hi guys. Would like to know why italian language is not present in the GOG version of Pharaoh.
I'm italian and I would like to buy the game for my children: I own the original physical italian version of both the main game and the expansion but I remeber to be a pain in the arse installing those games via CD on modern OS. Also the CD is required to play the game and I don't wanna leave the disc running around since is part of my little collection.

GOG only got the rights to distribute an English copy of the game. You can, however, just copy over the Italian language pack files and play the game with the Italian text and voices.

Make sure the copy you take is the same version as the GOG.com copy (gog's version is 2.1, which Cleopatra + the sole patch for it)

WARNING: MAKE SURE TO BACK UP THE ORIGINALS BEFORE DOING THIS!

Scusa, leggo il tuo messaggio solo ora. In realtà io ho già il gioco originale in italiano, mi sarebbe piaciuto averlo ITA su GOG per pura comodità , visto volevo farci giocare i miei figli. :) Non so se sia possibile tirar fuori i file italiani dell'originale...
