mannefriedrich: The 'Deluxe Edition Upgrade' offline installer is still sitting at v1.0.1, by the way.
In what ways exactly does it upgrade the Standard Edition anyway? Additional fancy hats or something?
I'd like to know as well.
Wasn't even aware there was a "Deluxe Edition" of some sort to begin with?

I actually came here to ask that. I don't think I even D/Led it (I'm not sure it was there the first day when I pulled the game).

I looks like a Patch / EXE - does it do anything in particular?

Seems to have been pulled, at least that's how it looks on my end.
Guess that clears it up then.
Hey there! Patch 1.0.3 went live.
Cheers!
Hmmm. I think some further explanation about the changes on the LoF/LoS system would be advisable.

So, the system is no longer symmetrical, and now the shooter is the only one who "sidesteps". Am I wrong?
We'll provide you with a detailed explanation of how the revamped system works when we introduce the remaining changes currently planned for Wednesday. Right now we indeed deactivated free-sidesteps for player agents when targeted, but we have some additional tweaks, including the AI, among others which, in our assessment, will provide a better experience without making the game easier.

On Galaxy that is.
Hope the corresponding offline installer is already being worked on.
Hello CFG_Hitch_

thanks for the additional information and updates. I'd say knowing about that gonna help me a lot about my desperation ;)

Re-balancing the free side step in players favor is a good thing in my opinion, we play that for fun after all so having a little bonus won't hurt. :) (an option to disable that feature for hardcore players would be fine though)

About the endless waves I can see both sides. Endless waves doesn't make sense everywhere. Especially not that fast.
On the other hand every "system" to explain that would be diffiult and needed a redesign of the game (like a danger-meter to see how protected the place is what could be hidden since beholder wont show it...)

And PD is a kind of hardcore tactic game and get into a fight is just not what player is supposed to do... by ddefinition your quite almost ever outnumbered and outgunned since its your tiny group against the whole world.

TL:DR: I can deal with that would'nt mind some options though (maybe just raise the reinforcment timer with difficulty? Easy gets 3 extra rounds?)

Again thanks to Kacper Szymaczak for clarification. That helped a lot

Strange. I'm on Gog with Galaxy and I am still on 1.01 and I have no idea how to update it. Currently re-downloading the entire thing.

halp?

Do you have "Auto-updates" enabled in the settings? Anyway, all manual installation files are also in the "Backups & goddies" section (as I'm typing all up to patch 1.0.2).
Do not want it to be taken as a "whine" post, but I humbly request one answer from devs: will you disable endless enemy waves in combat-unavoidable missions in future patches?
If yes, then I'm ready to wait for that patch & re-buy the game. If not - well, it's your game, have the best of luck with it.
I'm just a little tired to follow the forums and I want to know if is it worth it to me to hope for a solution of the situation in the foreseeable future.
Thank you!

I do have auto update enabled but for some reason it never updated to 1.0.2. I then reinstalled it, and it is now 1.0.3 but I had to download 12G data for that.

You could also ask Bandai-NAMCO to remove ghost-respawning in Pacman. That's a very annoying feature ;)

I understand you could be frustrated by the respawning but in this game you are a small group of agent which goes against hudge agencies, you do can't stand a chance against them... For exemple, i play the CIA story and one of the cambat-only mission is to distroy your old hideout, i lost 1 agent and i had to stabilise my character (early in the fight) and carry him to the evac zone (so i did the mission with 3 agents out of 6 unable to fight, 1 dead, 1 stabilised and one carrying the previous one). But as i said in my opinion it's wanted, in the story you are a small ant who wants to tickle persons who pocess big boots to crush you.

I hope that this game will do something for you though, but if it's not the case i wish you to find hundreds of other good games to play!

Personally, if they removed endless enemy respawning (and other stuff like it), then it had better be entirely optional. As described above, a small team in a foreign land, entering a facility that's protected by military/intelligence assets - if you're caught, you should expect to get overwhelmed in short order. This is one part of the game I really like, along with airstrikes.
