Bug - Dispose of body.
Anytime i knock out an agent and try to dispose of the body the game ctd's with a fatal error msg.
Not sure if you are supposed to be able to dispose of them while their bleed timer is still running, but either way it is a 100% reproducable crash.

Also line of sight seems very wonky in general, with enemies shooting through walls etc.
It does not help that you are never given any indication on whether or not moving to a certain spot will give you los on someone.

Yeah I just ran into this.

I incapacitated an agent, but dropped them in game with the intention of picking them up later.

Unfortunately I can't pick them up anymore; I can't target them from the ability menu, but if I target their body directly it gives me the option to "Dispose of Body". From here I can select the option "Pick up" but I can't confirm this dialogue so am unable to pick up the agent again. When confirming the "Dispose of Body" option I get the Fatal error and crash to desktop just after the animation completes.

As a 'hardcore' player I like it this way to be honest.
If at all, this kind of meta information should be optional.

Also isn't this exactly what the recon job you're able to do prior to a direct assault is for? Revealing the position (and thus potential line of sight) of hostiles/enemy agents in the mission area?

There's a Personal History window that opens up. It says, "Back in the day, X has spent 10 years in military prison Mamak in Ankara. He was mistreated and tortured, and tried to track down his jailer ever since he was set free. He got word on jailer's location and wants his revenge." This has several grammar mistakes.

It should be: "Back in the day, X spent 10 years in a military prison in Mamak, Ankara. He was mistreated and tortured, and has tried to track down his jailer ever since he was set free. Recently he received word on the jailer's location, and he wants his revenge."
Hello, it seems i get no progression in the "story". I played till day 88 and got lots of money on the account etc.
But the game itself doesnt seem to progress at all. I only get Recon missions i can intercept very easy,
but in the loading screen etc. it always writes: Chapter 1 ... i found a fissel in Pakistan etc.

But a special Mission is not appearing or a story mission to progess further. I saw in some videos that
there is a lot more to do, then prevent recon missions.

But actually that is not the case in my game.

Patch 1.01 seems to not fix this.
Patch 1.02 still the same issue

Enemy Activity phase stuck.

Seems to happen on the turn that the enemy agent enables the cameras again.

I tried reloading to an earlier save and I managed to get a little further turnwise until the agent once again activated the console.

I've attached the gamesave with the problem. Simply observe end turn to see issue.

Just tried blocking the terminal (which actually engages hostilities) and the turn passed normally.

EDIT: Sorry, I can't attach the save with the .PDSave Extension so I renamed it to a PNG

EDIT2: Nevermind, can't attach the file even after renaming :(

AceArick: As mentioned before, I get a strange bug where the UI seems to lock me out of interaction which leads to an ALT+F4 exit of the game, this also deletes the save file as I play on Ironman.
This sounds similar to a bug I had when I was trying to decipher the documents in training mode. I never had any more documents, but the game wouldn`t let me back out so I just had to Alt+F4 exit too.

Not had it happen again though after I decided not to have the training mode.

RaduMihai: Defect: User gets stuck in Mapboard screen/"room". Buttons to change rooms may disappear or not.

No info is shown on the map when stuck and the user can't navigate away from Mapboard room.

Repro: just jump to Mapboard room enough times and it will happen.

Workaround: Button to jump to info sorting room is still there and works most of the time.
Same issue, button to info room doesnt work, for me in this instance.
I had a strange bug with save games. I first started a campaign while being online. The next day my internet was having trouble and I started the game in offline mode and could not see my save games. There was no continue button and the load button lead to an empty menu. As soon as I got my internet connection back and started up the game the saves reappeared (perhaps through gog galaxy if I just speculate for a moment). So I try unplugging my connection. Saves once again disappear. It's now quite a binary state of affairs; online save games are there, offline save games not available.

So today I tried starting a new campaign while having my cable unplugged and then saving it. This new save was then accessible both in an offline and online state so I went to appdata/local/phantomdoctrine/saved and found that this new save had been placed in a new directory.

It's in directory 0 here (click image below), the old saves that I had trouble with are in 49510141959087628:

https://gyazo.com/05226a8c5fe0a8e0da70caafae62d302

So then I moved all the old saves from '49510141959087628' to '0' and lo and behold they now all work in both offline and online mode.

I have no idea why the game created this online-only save game directory but it falsely lead me to believe that Phantom Doctrine had a save game DRM in place that was there to force an always online feature.

So anyway problem solved for now but perhaps something worth looking into for the devs as I'ver heard other state they've had similar problems with disappearing saves.

Smart man. I was just getting this issue as well with my Saves suddenly vanishing. Just saved me a load of potential hassle. Nice one.

p.s. It is certainly interesting why they had it like that.

SO far 2 bugs.

1, I often load and save my game. it is possible, that sometimes (I think after loading) the camera stuck, not moving, circling or zooming. after moving the Char or reloading it works. -
EDIT: It happens on me, when I create a new savegame. Happened twice in a row

2. In the HQ I just lost my UI at some point. It was fixed after saving and reloading

Agent carrying a body cannot physically cross traffic barriers.

Yes, I mean actual traffic barriers, you know, those things painted red and white that were always bad news in the movies.

The kind that now are fully automated but back then a guy had to actually go outside and push down to raise them so traffic could pass.

Just consulted this with the programmer who did this part of the save system. The game uses the Username folder if that one can be accessed and uses that folder 0 when Username is not available. We're not sure why losing the connection has this kind of effect on the game when run through Galaxy and are investigating the matter.
When an informer gives you a piece of light armor you don't actually get it. Happened twice in my campaign now.
In Tech Upgrades in the Workshop:

- For Personnel Surveillance Equipment, it says, "Unlocks the Tail job, allowing to reveal enemy Cells." For correct English, this should be, "Unlocks the Tail job, which can reveal enemy Cells."

- For Personnel Location Equipment, it says, "Unlocks the Seek Agent job, allowing to reveal known enemy Agent's activities." For correct English, this should be, "Unlocks the Seek Agent job, which can reveal a known enemy Agent's activities."
