Not really, as the videos were never in fullscreen in the original game.
The cutscenes all stick to the "main window", the frame above the inventory, hintkeeper, looking glass and optionsbutton.
You can choose to have small video (half) or large video(full), but that's it.

I think that both games of the series merrit a remake allowing to get a much larger playscreen. One misses so many beautilful things with this so, so tiny screen.
