Hey, just got this game during a sale, really interested in doing a full playthrough, but in game sounds are missing.
(Voice clips like "Your such a pretty girl Blob." appear as text instead of audio.)
This was mentioned here before but I didn't really see any easy solution.
What's the easiest way of getting these back in the game and working?

Welp, I have looked online quite a bit and re-read the other forum posts and what I am getting is;
You cannot hear those voice clips unless you play the orginal CD version.

This thread is now about how they should patch these clips back into the game.

Good luck getting GOG to do that. I've tried explaining the issue to them, and as far as I understand others have too. The responses I got were very unhelpful, suggesting over and over and over again that GOG may have some technical or legal reason for breaking the game's data files, and that fixing them was not something that technical support could do. Because reasons.

At that point I gave up in disgust and decided I'll just use my original CDs if I ever want to replay the game.
