After the second mission, a long dialogue plays explaining the history of the world. But partway through, it stops and the continue button doesn't appear. There's nothing I can do but skip it. I know there's more because I played the game years ago. Any ideas?

I'm playing in Win10 with the latest updates and video/sound drivers.

I've got this issue too on steam. It's really annoying because its a key part of the history/propoganda from the spirits

@branetheory. Good news found a video with it Let's Play Perimeter - 2 - Very Strange Dragons

Just in case the video found by Bartimayus goes away, here is the text of the rest of the debriefing for Eldruid. Mine almost always bug out during the segment that says, "At first, three Frames were created: Zodiac, Pioneer, and Freeborn. They were the first to venture into the unknown and discovered the first three worlds of the Chain." The next segments are supposed to say:

"Their example was followed by the three Frames of the second wave: Router, Wayfarer, and Existor."

"The Last to leave the Root Worlds were Ark-9, Organ and your native Cluster. Once deserted, the Root worlds began sinking into Oblivion. There was no going back... the Exodus had begun."

"By the time you were born, Legate, the Chain totalled over a hundred worlds, all interconnected with permanent and secure Corridors." The video shows many worlds being discovered and connecting to each other, ending at the Cluster Frame (top left) in the Year 254.

The briefing for the world of Pyramida then begins.
I was able to watch the full briefing for mission 3 after capping framerate to 60 FPS. If you are on Linux like me, the way to do it is by setting an environment variable for dxvk (to install it run winetricks dxvk), launching game with DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 wine Perimeter.exe. Windows users probably have to override application settings using some nVidia/AMD program.

I will have to try that. The source port located here: https://github.com/KD-lab-Open-Source/Perimeter may also be relevant to anyone who finds this.
