I bought Patron here in GOG on June 26, 2022. When I run the game it says it's at version 1.330.5.

Patron has gone through several updates since then, including today June 29, 2023. How do I get my game updated? Do I actually need to repurchase this on Steam in order to keep the game updated to its latest version all the time?

The Patron changelog in this community at GOG even mentions today's update but says no where on how to get this update via GOG Galaxy. Please help save me some money, I don't want to have to repurchase this on Steam.

Hi,

To download the latest offline installers available:
1. In GOG menu on the top of the page - hover the mouse pointer on your account name (without clicking), wait for the dropdown menu and click "Games"
2. Search the game.
3. Click on the game image and wait for the game downloads window.
4. Click on "DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS" if it's not expanded.

With GOG Galaxy you can install/update them directly or download offline installers (select an owned game and select EXTRAS in the top menu) for backup or eventually a manual installation without the need of Galaxy.

About the changelog in forum unfortunately this user posts Steam updates creating confusion.
The new version of Patron should arrive on GOG soon.
