There is an achievement called Watch Collector. It says you have to collect 10 watches. I've got 0/10 despite I've completed the game few times already. Does anyone know where to find those watches?
10 days past since relase of the game, still problems ... still testing on Galaxy

nice to read some users are able to play and even complete the game, so the game seems to run on some configurations.

What setup do you use to play the game:

WINDOWS: 7/8 or 10
RAM: 8 GB or UP
CPU: :
GPU:

since i am in need of a new PC (dont want to waste cash again on a potato) it would be helpfull if some specs could be dropped so i can see if i can afford that system, cause if it runs on those systems :D
also read a CPU that had 3 ghz had problemss, so i am very curious to see what the magic setup of the pcs is that were able to run the game without 'frying' the pc .

It still looks as if the game (101-108)is being 'compiled' after we start the game, making the game grow to 3.2 GB ram used in memory during that 'compile" things get hot :D still would love to have the main game compiled as a whole at 3.2 GB one single file with everythin in it, extra levels and graphics can be loaded if needed like many games do...

also noticed it uses dozens of files, I thought Unity used too many files :D
but this games uses 950 files in SFX folder , 855 files in config folder ,564 files in scriptfolder

862 MB
2,574 Files, 243 Folders (total)

Whispers of a machine uses 21 files total folder size 743 MB

Soldiers - Heroes of World War II
1.38 GB total folder size

252 Files, 30 Folders

EDIT: i noticed 1.08 for download thought i already tried that version, seems i have 1.06 anyway, downloaded the 1.08

Hey there,
I'm not good at computers and stuff. Over a year ago I bought a gaming Notebook Asus ROG. Paid around 1500$( for me it was expensive) but I am really happy with it, everything runs smoothly.
Those are the specs:
Intel Core i7-7700HQ
CPU 2.80 GHz
RAM 16 GB
Windows 10

Thanks for the reply : i7 CPU
i expected that... thats a little too $ for me ,

ah well i need a new PC cause current is old ( almost 10 years ( 'physically') so if it ++++ it would be logical, it should have been repalces after 4 years but Euro 'prevents' me ( everything costs an arm and a leg nowadays)

Anyway i guess i will 'waste' another bag of euros to get a nasty i5 ( with nasty turbo boost again) cause i3 = even more cr?p so if i have to get a trashy pc then im better of with a new i5 , this ensures i can at least archive large files very fast : D

Just so you know, I'm playing with an AMD FX-6300. It wasn't a huge processor back in 2013 when I got it, but holds up beautifully even today. I have absolutely no issues with playing Pathway, or any other game I throw at it. Of course it's not a modern i7 or a 2nd gen Ryzen.. but it is not bad at all for a processor that got released more than 7 years ago.

On the side, I renew you the invite I gave you some days ago: instead of hijacking many unrelated threads, you really should open a thread of your own to talk about your specific issue. This way it is also easier for other people to help you if they can, including the devs.

thanks for the reply, i created such topics, devs just ignored me or answered : we were not able to 'replicate' this or something like that using some techwords i dont understand :D

Anyway they always tell me :

i 5 750 2.66 quad core is a 'meh' pc, which is true, my first GPU sucked: GTS 250 it was getting hot cause it was the bottle neck , so i dumped the poor so youknow card , and got a nice GTX 750 ti 2 GB
ouch.... things turned around: now many devs/gamers claim the CPU is more or less the 'bottlebeck'
so it was a big facepalm to me.

Another thing i don't: understand: i read some GPU support up to 144Hz ( seems to be ralted to the rrfrsh of the monitor) i assume hz=hz and 85 hz is the same hz ( in meaning) as 144hz, , people claim the 85hz monitor makes a cpu and or gpu sweat which is weird cause 85hz is < 144 so why would the cpu/gpu have trouble ? its is easy to blame the vga at 85hz which is bollocks ( pardon my french) cause if it were true, none of my 3500 + games would run, and there re only 100 games ( 70 = unity) that dont run properly 100 games out of 3500 + = nothing.

Anyway... i dont know what to get.... i gues i stick to the old pc till it is ++++ .

CPUs and GPUs have to go together: having a good CPU but a slow GPU will slow down the system because everything is waiting for the video card to render frames; having a good GPU but coupled with a slow CPU, will make the former wait for the processor to do whatever it has to calculate.

That being said, your system should run Pathway just fine, as your CPU is very much comparable to my own.
Elsewhere you said that the CPU heats up like crazy because it goes into turbo mode... well it's meant to work in turbo mode. As soon as you clean the CPU heatsink regularly and you are sure that the fan is operating well, you should have no problem.

A game by default usually works at the refresh rate equal to the smaller figure between the maximum rate supported by the GPU and the maximum rate supported by the monitor: so for example, given a certain screen resolution, if you have a monitor that is capable of a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a GPU that is able to handle 144 Hz at that resolution, the game will still run at 60 Hz as it's the highest rate the monitor can support.

Other games have a fixed refresh rate value, so no matter what the hardware you have, the game will run at that refresh rate (and won't work at all if your GPU and/or monitor doesn't support it). This is true for most ports from consoles which usually run at 60 Hz when not even 30 Hz.

The higher the refresh rate, the better both the CPU and the GPU must be as they need to deliver more frames per second. 144 Hz is more demanding than 90 Hz, which in turn is more demanding than 60 Hz and so on. The trick then is to pick a smaller refresh rate value if your hardware isn't exactly up-to-date.

nice setup you have: i like the 3.5GHz :D
i own many casual games and steam games ( > 1200)( 500 retail rest is digital) ) so i been able to see many differences and it usually is a cpu issue: 3.5GHz is apparently what many games require, thats why i am looking for a i5 that has a clockspeed of 3.2 or 3.5 ghz on every core NO overclocking or turbo but a base 3.5 ghz
they dont exists cause some reviews told that many socalled 3.2 ghz only have 2.8 which is a little more then 2.66 i have now , it be a waste to spend my money on, which i been saving for a while to get a decent new pc.
