If it were early access I would buy it, but just preordering bonuses don't tempt me enough. After all, I'll have to wait till september anyway & a few items won't change that.
85£?

Ahah

On the continent for € 98.99 ... Now, it does sound more attractive, no?
What was this saying in your country, already, about one born every minute?
Wasn't the Owlcat already a pre order exclusive thing for the Kingmaker game? So is this a new game or just an updated version?

Sorry I really don't get your humor, if any.
I just think is a ridiculously high price for a game will be broken as hell and does little to incentivize pre-order.

And I'm not English, by the way.

Oh, I thought you were English since you're shown as living in the UK, sorry.
Forget about the humour :) If any...
I work in UK.
And... kind of live here.... :-/
I see this as US$106.74.

I have no interest in the game, but I had to seek out the forum because this is the most expensive thing I've ever seen on GOG, and it's a freaking pre-order!

I know that publishers are setting the prices and all, but this is absolutely crazy.

Whether or not it turns out to be worth it, I think that anyone dropping this kind of money on a pre-order is mad.

I must be absolutely mad then.

I'd rather buy this though that a myriad of other cheaper games. I loved the first one and am very excited about this one. It's better to pay a little more for something you may play than less for many things you won't.

Of course...then that's ALWAYS the hope for pre-ordering..sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

But the first game was awesome and this one I think just builds upon what they learned in the first one's creation.

Yeah. The price of the Mythic edition is indeed... mythic.

Well, I did kickstart the game (like first one) and gave 99$ for beta "early" access version + 15€ for Alpha test. That will give me I guess 69,99€ Commander Edition (+ all the possible kickstart and preorder items) and I have to buy Season Pass later when it become possible.

For most of the games no, I would not do it. Simple because I do not have time for it. But for these hundreds of hours already spend for this game I see my money well spend.

For most players they will be happy with 49,99€ Core Edition (I mean do you really NEED Digital Artbook, OST or so to just play the game?) and if they later want they can upgrade for higher tier I guess.

Would it be better to have only one edition and then "pay 20€ more for extra things" and then "pay another 20€ extra for Season Pass" or "Pay around 10€ per DLC"?

Many games (specially in Steam) are REALLY expensive is you look for price of EVERY SINGLE DLC and item you can buy to get full version. I do not see anything bad having easy option to just buy "all" and be happy with it instead of waiting every DLC and add on then pay for them one at a time.
