I loved Pathfinder: Kingmaker, and I want to buy this game. But there is no native Linux support this time. So I want to wait and collect some data points on how well this runs on Linux with wine. Did anyone try it?

According to complaints in regards of missing offline installers, yes.

There're some reports that it runs ok with Wine or Proton.
For me, I can run it, though it runs with 1 FPS on my GT 1030.

i used to use wine but for ages now i just create a win-whatever hvm and run it on xen on a fedora laptop. make sure that you configure the hvm for pci-passthrough if you want to use your gfx card.

I'm playing it on Linux right now with the help of Lutris.

I am using Lutris on Legion 5 with GTX 1650. When it comes to smaller maps I have 60 fps but when I am on the bigger map it drops to 8 fps... wasn't able to solve it yet.

The Linux-specific issues I've noticed have mostly been really minor. Linux had the game-breaking bug early in the game when loading between levels, but that has since been fixed.

The game is a little quieter than other apps and sometimes the samples are pitched incorrectly being slightly too deep. This might be a quirk of my audio system and a mismatch of the various sample rates in the game compared to the sample rate of my audio setup.

Lastly, this one is very minor, but the mouse cursor is weirdly dark and slightly less visible as a result.

The rest of the bugs I believe are just general game bugs.

(My framerate is fine but I'm playing on top shelf hardware.)
