Greetings, Pathfinders!

We're hosting another stream on Thursday, Mar 7, 18:30 CET/ 09:30 PT. This time our guest will be Arseny Krymov, also known as Thainen - one of the narrative designers of both the main game and the DLCs. We'd like to try out something new this time - we'll gather questions for him in advance!

If there's anything you'd like to know about, say, what's it like to write romances, or what his creative routine is, just post a question on our forum, in this topic: https://owlcatgames.com/forums/showthread.php?6189-DLC-Stream-w-Narrative-Designer-A-Krymov!-Ask-your-questions-here!-Mar-7-19-00-CEST or in this thread!
We'll pick the best ones and answer them during our stream.

yay!
I'm afraid I will be beaten by other gamers for this question, but
Any plans on PF:K 2? Or perhaps something like IWD? I mean you have an engine which is (mostly) working OK. You've got an expirience on creating a solid story-driven game. Why not to announce a brand new adventure?

p.s: I can't post messages on owlcats forum and don't know whom to ping on this:

Same thing happened to me several months ago when I tried to sign up for their forums. I remember reading a post about it somewhere where they acknowledged the problem and said it was deliberate because of some bots, but they never felt like removing the block from new users. Some months later, they posted a work-around. Email them at team@owlcatgames.com with the line "Forum Posting Permissions" in the subject field asking for your account to be unblocked. 'Course, I'd lost interest in joining their forums by that point and never followed through.

Anyhow, here's my question for the interview.:

It seems like every western RPG out there, from Baldur's Gate to Neverwinter Nights, Planescape, Pillars of Eternity, Dragon Age, etc. all have a bias against including "shorty" relationships in the game. The same tired paths of Human, Elf, Half-Elf, near-Human (Tiefling, etc) are the only ones available, but never Dwarves, Halfling, Gnomes or the like. Are there plans to work a narrative in for the existing characters like Jubilost, Linzi, Nok-Nok or Harrim? Or perhaps some character to be introduced at a later stage?

Also

How foreplanned were the decisions in alignment-restricted storypaths? Like only Lawful characters being able to save both Jhod and Kesten? Or evil characters recruiting Vordakai? Having never played the TT module, I don't know if those were included, but it's one of my favorite parts of this game. Each playthrough on a different alignment has been a different experience in a way I haven't seen "branching" RPGs accomplish before.

I would honestly like to see them make a Starfinder game. I don't know of any sci-fi RPGs that are use this isometric turn based format. Owlcat has the talent to make a game like this.

Thank you! I will try next time I'll want to post something there.
