Luuin: Any update as to when a hotfix is coming down the pipe? Be neat to use DLC we paid for :D
I hope they didn't all leave for the whole weekend, that would be scandalous given the state of things atm.
Mine is also bugged out.

Win10
Managed through GOG Galaxy
Explorer Edition (I get the necklace, hat, and Owlcat pet at game start)
Bloody Mess

Mortheim: We are looking into it. Any additional info might be helpful (OS, edition, season pass/standalone, etc).

Sorry for inconvenience.

When I use the workaround I can get the portrait to show up but neither the race or class are available to choose.

Just wait in the capital. I do not know how many it is necessary for time. At me there passed only several days. Maybe the event starts from the beginning of new month.

It says in the DLC the new companion shows up after chapter 2, so I guess after chapter two just wait in the throne room.

Mortheim: If you face this problem there is work around: "in order to see the new race you must create a new game -> exit it and then you see the new race"

But, please, provide info on what edition of the game do you own and what is your OS.
Tiefling as a playable race or Kineticist as a class both unavailable.

Work around only shows new portraits.

Imperial Edition (Pre-order) v1.1.3M
Windows 10
Not even a hint of anything DLC related.

Windows 10,
Standard Edition+Season Pass,
version 1.1.3m.

Another workaround would be to use "bag of tricks" mod. Essentially a cheat mod, but you don't have to use any of it's features i think, simply install it. Also, your character will be missing it's horns if you play as a tiefling.

Not sure exactly why but after playing for a bit last night both Kineticist, Tieflings, and new NPCs started appearing my game. best I can tell I didn't download any new patch or update.
I've seen people on the Steam forums saying that it's suddenly working for them too, but still no change here for me.

That's a can of worms they opened but yes. The latest version of Bag of Tricks removed the workaround to access the DLC but the version that did is still available for download. Might be removed at any time though since it essentially could be viewed as an illegal crack depending on your perspective. Just keep that in mind if you use it.

I was debating even discussing this openly but if the devs are going to leave for the weekend and leave people hanging with no access to the content they bought I think they brought it on themselves, especially when they decide to give everyone the DLC content rather than developing a plugin system.

Well GOG always was an honor-based system with no DRM so maybe they don't have a problem with this. Most people myself included who wants to support an open platform like this by buying good games will gladly do so.
