So when I move around different posts on the forum my computer opens up a window in google chrome that says "Invalid App ID: The provided app ID does not look like a valid app ID."

It started out of nowhere and is quite annoying lol, anyone else had this happen and know a way to make it stop?

It's happening to me. Seems to trying to open a page on https://www.facebook.com/

Yes, it's sending a ping to facebook, very annoying and not respectful of the user at all (and why do they even need to ping facebook for each forum page we view?)

My guess is galaxy displays the same page as your browser, but in a browser the facebook ping request code errors out silently so we don't see it

I filed a Galaxy ticket yesterday evening, no news yet. In the meantime you can block facebook.com and its subdomains on your router, this should fix it obviously :D
