Also got the problem. I cannot play the DLC. Ive been able to install it - weird but the installed dlc is shown not by name instead there are a bunch of numbers. But i cannot play the new race/class. I own the ultimate Edition.

I am having a really weird experience here. I downloaded the DLC last night, as previously mentioned it appeared as a series of numbers in the list.. Managed to see the new portraits, and went to create a new char, using tiefling and kinteicist . Decided to wait to see what NPC was like before playing, so didnt complete character creation.

Went on to play my main character, met the Tiefling in my Hall, even went to her house in my town , the new place marked showed up on my map, all good I think, so I log out.

Loaded up today, tried to boot up my last save only to have message of DLC required. I check the DLC menu on GOG client and Wild Cards IS box ticked. Needless to say I am beyond confused.

Here is hoping for a quick fix.

I wasn't able to access the dlc content at all, then I read that once people met the companion in game they were able to create a teifling and play the new class. I tested it out started a new game (using someone else's save file so I could start at chapter 2) finished chapter 2 and waited for the companion to join me when she did I saved my game, went to the main menu, and I was able to play the teifling race and the new class.

I also have the DLC required to load issue, but I found just pressing continue allows me to keep playing from my last save file even if I can't load it in the load options.

Also after you press continue if it loaded the wrong save you can go to the load menu and all the saves that said DLC required allowed me to load them again.

Same here, once you load a save during the chapter 2, wait for a day in the throne room, and you'll have a visit... After you met your new companion, creating a new character, you'll be able to : see the portraits, the new race and the new class...

At least, it worked for me


but what a shame to use such a time consuming technique only to have the right to use a honestly acquired dlc ...

I find it doesn't work if you try to load before you continue. If you press continue and then go to load it works for me.

Seems as if they have solved the problem for steam users, now they concentrate on gog (at least I hope, they do).

I just tired seeing their incompetence. Are they kidding? We would take it a bit longer, to iron out remaining bugs, they said, quality release, they promises, blah blah, so sorry, keep patience. So we nod in consent - yes, yes, we said, we'll surely wait a bit longer, just do it... right. For this time, do it right. Here, take our money. And what we see in exchange?

Nah, just boiled up.

EDIT: I've tried solutions listed above. As of my save at Act 3, that I made within ver. 1.1 - it seems to be broken now, thus crashes at load. So I tried starting a new game, then quitting to main menu, as suggested. And it works! Well, almost. My farthest success - is being able to see new portraits and models, not the new race/classes. Truly game of the year - in terms of time, needed to made it run

I got it to work by going to Pathfinder in GoG Galaxy -> More -> Settings -> Uninstall and then reinstall the DLC.
