Hi
So I returned to this game after years, one of my saves is with Beneath the Stolen Lands, where my party is trailed by a Diviner whose concept is to learn as many long-lasting enhancement spells as he can, and overall function as a powerful advisor for the party. It's lots of fun, but the Cleric of Cailen Cayden (heck yeah! Oh, I mispronounce deities all the time) and Eldritch Scoundrel do it better.
Because Diviner does not have access to Augury and Divination (ignoring for the moment that they're not in PnP and I'm not even in Ironman mode), I can't tailor my spells correctly to the situation. I have to put the work in and hone my real-player skills to get good... which isn't going to happen I'm just here to get rich.
My go-to buffs and how much they matter:
Shield
Eldritch Scoundrel gives him Mage Armor, or I use a potion for that.
Enlarge and Bull's Strength on Barbarian who usually hides behind Fighter
Communal Protection from Arrows--which ROCKS. I keep getting Saving Throw messages after taking 0 damage.
False Life/Greater False Life. You'll see.
Communal Protection from Alignment I never use, it's one of those emergency spells I keep forgetting about because it only lasts a minute. Even worse, Cleric casts Shield of Faith for deflection.
Communal See Invisibility which helped me nada against Mirror Imaged Owlbear
Displacement on Barbarian which helped me supremely against Mirror Imaged Owlbear (even after Eldritch Scion keeps Blurring him).

Last time, I figure what I got is all the buffer and firepower I'll be using this floor, it looks like I'm doing good, so I'm going to use my Elemental Form and let him help with the Level 15 madness floor boss that must be in the next and last room... a Corrupted Redcap! Uhhhh, uh oh, those are trouble, I'm definitely sending my Wizard in to help take it out as fast as I can. This is in real time with pause mode by the way. Everyone ignore the corrupted bears and take down that fey. I keep seeing huge damage numbers but the Redcap's still standing. Eldritch Scoundrel, use your Vampiric Touch as a flanking attack.
(SPLASH! SPLASH!)
When the dust clears I see my Diviner "dead" (death's door mode) with -47HP. My Kineticist did it--WHAT!? He failed a Will saving throw, I guess it was a confusion effect? Diviner stands up having returned to his true form :) and all his buffs got wiped out too :( Rogue has all 60 temporary HP left, a number I still think is insane.

I've got something new for this floor: Stoneskin!
This floor's capstone battle: two Soul Eaters (and junk)
WIS -4, WIS -3 etc. etc.
Rogue uses Lesser Maximize Metamagic Rod Fireball which works, and Lesser Maximize Metamagic Rod Lightning Bolt which does not. Time to Rogue wade in and Rogue doesn't do much better. I forget to use Mobility and pray I don't get AOOed to death as my tank and rogue run, which for some reason they survive.

I have enough spell points and extra AC bonuses to give my Fighter Enlarge too. And I've been liking this Flame Scythe for my Barbarian a little better than that Glaive. My Rogue guy and my Cleric both have Dex to damage let's wean them off of bows and have them use Teamwork feats with the warriors.
And Rogue and Cleric leap in front of Fighter and Barbarian.
