So for months I have had no problem running Pathfinder but now for no apparent reason the game stops working just before the start menu. Freeziing just as the candles begin to appear. I have verified the files and reinstalled the game to no avail.. The only way to get out of the frozen game is as many have claimed here to do a hard reset of my computer or hit the power button and quickly click cancel. CNTRL ALT DELETE and Alt TAB do not work as the program freezes my desktop. Very disappointing.

Do you have a problem with any other Unity Games? Do you have Citrix on your system?

That sometimes cause problems with Unity.

MattHarris: Do you have a problem with any other Unity Games? Do you have Citrix on your system?

That sometimes cause problems with Unity.
No nothing like that on my system. I uninstalled and reinsstalled recently plus verified the files and the game worked briefly then the next time I ran the program it jammed again at the start menu graphic. Uninstalling till there is a major bug fix.
