I have spent four days downloading Pathfinder - Kingmaker, and now I can't even start it. When I try to run it, a small error message pops up saying:

Failed to initialize player

Details:
Failed to load PlayerSettings (internal index #0).
Most likely data file is corrupted, or built with mismatching
editor and platform support versions.



I really don't want to spend another four days downloading it again, so can someone tell me how can I run the game?

got mine to work after giving admin rights to the exe

Don't you still have the installer?

Verify / Repaire... Have you tried that?

It's all good now, I ran the verify/repair which downloaded a patch which was about 4.5 Gig, and after that was installed it works fine.
