Hello people.

I've played the tutorial and read most of the manual. What is the best way to proceed in PG2, with a scenario or a campaign? Which one?

I'm inclined not to start with a scenario because I think they are part of the campaigns and only want to repeat them if I like them. On the other hand starting with a campaign looks intimidating.

I'd also prefer not to start by playing the Russians or Germans although I'm looking forward to do it once I'm more experienced.

Thanks you.

Earlier scenarios of a campaign are easier, but you can also take a look at Malta (a naval and airborne invasion). The British and American campaigns are mostly a 'Rush for Berlin'.

The German offensive campaign isn't difficult at the beginning, especially because the mechanization of the enemies is low and the airforce small. You can start playing it. Likely the most tempting mistake one can make is to advance too much without weakening the nearby enemy forces which counterattack the own forces in their turn.
