Hi,

I'm having trouble with the game, using the PE3 mod. Most tanks have totally wonky aim, with shell going straight up from the barrel.

So far, only the Matilda II seems to work correctly.

I've tried all realism option for shell ballistics, the results were always the same.

For exemple, if I aim with the IS2, the shell goes so far up that I barely see it on the optic, meaning I have to aim at the ground to have a slight chance of hitting something.
That mod was made without the cooperation of PEDG and the makers of PEx. The mod maker never calibrated the guns for the new game engine. If you are using a tank who's calibration is wrong, you will have to go to the gunnery range and use alt ++ and alt +- to find the calibration of the gun. The fifth column in USguns.csv and Gguns.csv is the default calibration. You can edit the csv file with windows notepad or any other plain text editor. The csv files can be edited in Excel, but they use German standards for time and seporator.

So anybody who wants to properly play this mod needs to go and manually dial in their sight alignment? That sounds really disappointing considering PE3 otherwise looks like a great mod with a lot of time spent making it.

If this is a problem for everyone, has no body made corrected .csv files to share?

Brit44Aldo:
Gunnery range? Please forgive me: I'm not running this mod, and mods don't seem to work properly for me. Right now it's just the base game, and what I seem to really be missing is a good training scenario. It would be nice to have a range, with training that teaches us how to manouvre, aim, fight, etc in a safe environment. Like a Panzer training school. :)
