I mean after I Click Poland South (or north) and then accept, the game freezes on the loading screen...

- Updated graphics card drivers
- Installed VC_redist.x64.exe and VC_redist.x86.exe

Win10, i5 3570K, 16GB Dual-Channel DDR3 799MHz, 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti
Will try a couple of older Nvidia drivers, after that will have to ask for refund...
"disable fullscreen optimizations" seems to do the trick, even though CPU, GPU and memory usage remains way too high.

Panzer Corps 2 "desktop Shortcut" > Properties >Compatibility > Check "disable fullscreen optimizations"

Less than ideal launch, Still freezes from time to time... needs a lot of work.
Right... stuck again. At the end of a mission power usage spikes very high and the game freezes (infinitely repeatable)
Do you run other applications in parallel to the game? When I tested the pre-release versions (e.g. the one which one got for a pre-order), starting/loading a game hang if it couldn't get enough memory (closing apps while it was loading didn't help).

The hang at the end of the mission, is it for the switch from the battlefield to the victory screen, from the victory screen to the next mission selector/map, or from the mission selector/map to the briefing + deployment?

I don't run any noteworthy parallel programs, only taskmanager, gog, internet security suite etc. When the game hangs or doesn't load it uses zero CPU, zero GPU and around 35% memory.

The infinitely repeatable hang happens so far only after the tutorial mission 4/6, when switching from victory screen to next mission. In that particular case CPU and GPU are under slight load, but nothing over 55%. Switching everything to mininum settings lessens the load on CPU, GPU and memory to under 35%, but still nothing happens.

The game just likes to hang while loading a mission. Sometimes it works three times in a row, sometimes it hangs three times in a row. And when it actually does run it uses quite a lot of resources for an hex based wargame.

So I think I'll be back after a patch or two.
