I tried the direct install and GOG Galaxy. Either way, the opening cut scene has a slow strobe effect where the screen blacks out, and after the scene, the slow strobe continues and the mouse is extremely sluggish. Is there a workaround, and/or is this not something GOG is able to correct in the VM?

Which game? In any case, definitely contact Support. The W10 versions should just use the ScummVM emulator.

Sorry, I missed your reply. I tried two, one of which was Pajama Sam 2, Thunder and Lightning, and I don't recall the other.

UPDATE: I completely uninstalled and reinstalled both graphics drivers (Intel and NVIDIA) and now it functions. The only games or programs which had been affected were two DOSBox/GOG Games, Pajama Sam and Wallace and Gromit. Both work now.
