PJS 4 crashes on launch. It loads to a black screen and dumps me out after 2 seconds.

I have tried running in compatibility mode for win 7 (I am on win 8.1)
and I have tried verifying/fixing in Galaxy,
and I have tried uninstall/ redownload, reinstall.

Help appreciated,
