Ok, this game is rated M for Mature right? M rated games require that you be 17 or older in the US. I happen to be 17 and GoG wont let me purchase the game because I am under 18? Is this a European based company or what? I have been able to buy M rated games from EB Games, Gamestop, and Steam since I have turned 17. Yet when I try here it is a no go.
Now I have played this game at a buddy's house and I know there is no nudity, sex, or any other adult only stuff, so whats the deal? It's one hell of a game and I would like to own it here on GoG.

I agree that the age limit thing is a bit silly, but I imagine it's just legal backside-covering.

It probably has more to do with the fact that you need to be 18 to make a credit card purchase without parent's consent.
As for "adult only stuff" the game has blood, gore and violence, which falls squarely under the "M for Mature" heading.

My Account >> Account and Settings >> Edit your birth date by one year.
I think it's quite silly, but it's probably to avoid legal problems.

lol that is certainly a cheap way out isnt it? Anyway I realize the reason is to avoid legal problems. But selling M rated games to 17 year olds is in fact not illegal in the States. Oh well.
At any rate, your "tips" have been noted.

And then there are all those bits where you are encouraged to think for yourself, those can be a bit scary.

tbh honest gog should be more careful with age realeted games but the vast majority the would fall into that catagory would be downgraded even in austraila !!!!
