Hello, I just bought the game and good news, there is a lot of languages inside, not only english.
Here is the list :
Voice/Text: English,French,German
Text : Brasilian,Dutch,Italian,Spanish
If you want to change, go to data/voices/yourlanguage , select all the files and copy them inside the root installation folder (certainly outcast), it will replace the text.pak and the fix.pak files(that's all for brasilian, dutch, spanish, italian), for French or german, delete the voices+.pak files. and rename the new ones to add + to the file name (for voicesge.pak you have to add n+), so you will have the same filename as before.
Launch the game and that's all.

Sweet, it works! Thanks man, I really, REALLY, hoped to be able to play this one in french.
I wonder why gog only lists english as the available language for this game though.

Well, I guess that spares themselves from supporting it, since clearly having to do that kind of tweaks is an unsupported way.
I just love you!
I had the game in german and missed Cutter Slades german voice (the voice of the german "bruce willis"). It works perfectly
Thanks, this info will be added to my compiled list of multilingual games. Unless you strongly object to that of course.

Funny, in french it's also the Bruce Willis voice (Patrick Poivey).

No problem.
Does it really work for you? I tried switching to French and German just to hear what it is like but all I get is subtitles, no voices.

Hello sure it works, did you rename the files to add "+" at the end ?
(dont forget the "n+" for voicege). Look the attached image.
Then copy the files in the outcast folder, it should replace the old ones.

lol you're saying it as if adding plus-signs to the files is the most natural thing in the world :D
Thanks a lot! Finally heard it in French. It was fun despite the fact that I only understand a word here and there.

Well it's natural as it is already said in my first post ;)
But sorry if I was rude or something, as English is not my first language I go straight to the point.
thank for info, that's great! especially becaus the german voice of slade is our voice actor of bruce willis and his voice is f***ing AWESOME! :-D

I'll never understand people who prefer dubs over subs...
Well in my case I prefer the original version for the voice and subs in french (that's how I watch movies and tv shows), and for outcast the original version is the french one (appeal were french belgians from Namur, not far from me by the way).
So the english version is not the original version and there is no reason to play that version intead of the german one.
Edit : well what I mean is, not using the dub in your first language can be interesting if you change for the original version (in that case french), but I don't see the point to use another language instead of your first language for another non original version.

For me its because the german voice of Bruce Willis is very charismatic and fits perfect for the character of Cutter Slade. Furthermore the game is translated very well into german so that I really dont have a reason to play the game in english (There are other games where I prefer english voice (e.g. L4D1 and L4D2) )
edit: somehow mixed up the quotes
