Using latest version 1.0.0.10.

-After having beat the second boss (the one who is in the burning area and has a flame thrower) I returned back to the trains by continuing to the left. However I made the mistake and climbed fown the trains and now I am unable to climb back up again (which seems to be what I have to do now that I have the third blue orb). I managed to do this before but now it is impossible. you can download my savefile for testing here.

Edit: I just rolled back to ver. 1.0.0.8 and it's no problem to climb on the train here.

-After leaving the second boss you have to climb up and then down again and there's a place your character gets stuck. The only possibility to free him is to roll (jumping does not help). That's a minor issue though because it is fixable. I have attached a screenshot of this area as well.

Last but not least (and since it's completely avoidable I did not include it in the thread title):
- If you return to the caves using the train entrance you can fall through the broken bridge if you are rolling or dodging. (See second screenshot attached).

Fixed the bridge now (small oversight in the collapse activation code and somehow when testing I always just walked/ran over it and never tried that). If your game saved it in the state it won't revert back, but it won't happen again for others.

Thank you for fixing the bridge already though - as you said - it' the issue that is the most unproblematic (along with ths tuck in the environment issue from my first screenshot). The "I cannot climb to the trains" error however is crucial to continue the game at all.

Can you describe better the place where you can't get back on the train?

That's why I uploaded you my savefile in the first post. You have to climb from under the bridge up onto the train and that is not possible anymore in the actual version - the moment the character managed to climb the bridge he gets teleported to the ground again.

From the start of the save follow the shown arror and walk to the right until you reach the bridge. Try to climb on the train from under the bridge.

OH ok... totally forgot about the save file and was looking at the other edge of the train. Yeah this is a little bug inserted in the last build trying to solve some climbing issues and speed animations up. It's in progress. I'm working on a pretty big patch at the moment that will fix this and about 15-20 other issues. :P Will have it up tomorrow morning at some point. Will probably call it 1.0.1 as I need to lose a digit for the upcoming Linux build.

Moved you back to the top of the train:

Nice you did this for me but since it is possible on GOG to change between versions I was already able to get there by myself by doing a rollback to 1.0.0.8. and after getting there update it back to the actual version. Now I am trying to beat the third second phase of the third boss (got electrecuted a lot here) so that might take a while anyway ;)

Thank you again for fixing things so fast - I can only imagine how much work and stress this must be for a single person team. It sounds as if you are finally getting to a stage when things might get a little calmer - you deserved it. I know some guys who will be very glad that you actually are planning a Linux version as well. I guess it will come to GOG as well?

Thanks for understanding. It's been a nightmare of my own making. All these bugs are just like knives in my soul every day trying to clean up my own mistakes. Having a regular day-job doesn't make it any easier.

Linux will definitely hit GOG. I'm new to it but have a test build just about ready to go. The delay at the moment is I need to get bugs wrapped up. At the moment it takes an hour and a half just to compile two builds (GOG and Steam) and get them uploaded. When I add Linux, that turns into 4 builds. So I need to be at the point where I'm not trying to patch every other day to fix things before I add to the mess.

Hey Brandon,

just finished the final boss - in joy I threw my controller away the second I did this and was surprised by what came next. Interesting and unexpected idea but you don't offer the possibility to save after the final boss and you also don't have a checkpoint here. After dying twice to the clock (and even without any dying scene - just back to the main menu) I decided to suggest you to make a checkpoint after the fight.

Also I noticed the following:
If you have several items assigned to your controller keys and you switch them by using select + hotkey the game does not remeber the item you switched to after uneuip and then equip the item again (it seems as if in this case always the item that is assignes to the B key is getting equipped). Not an important thing but maybe it is nice for you to know.

Aaaand I finished the game and enjoyed it after all. However my savegame says 13 hours and I just got the speedrunner achievement. I do feel flattered I have to say - but completely undeserved. I guess I am probably the worst Orphan player ever - still I enjoyed the game a lot..
