I am very much looking forward to Steve's latest release. Blackthorne and his compatriots have been able to recapture that point-and-click adventure spirit that we all lost when adventure games were no longer considered marketable. Order of the Thorne was a pleasant surprise. The hand painted backdrops are vivid, colorful and not too busy or "cartoony" allowing the scene to be represented well. Having talked to Steve I know his gaming design sensibilities are directed towards those who appreciate some actual challenge and logic in these types of games.
