I've just bought the Gold Version, which states 2.8 Gb.
What I got after downloading everything, is a little over 1.3Gb, which is what is quoted for the Standard version.

Is the Gold Version missing something? i.e. Soundtrack etc.

Usually, anything like soundtracks and what not are listed under the extras section to the right of the Galaxy/manual download options.

You can quite easily check if your version has all of the downloadable content by looking in the game's DLC folder. You should have five hpk files. Hope this helps!

Thanks for replying.

I have well over 800 games at GOG, so I'm no beginner. I know where all the bits and pieces are.

So either the stated size is an error or something is missing. In any case, in my experience, the extras are not usually included in the game size listed .... DLCs and such can be though.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind when I eventually install ... if I remember.

I was hoping for an official reply.

Contact GOG support directly then. The chance of a blue answering you here is small.

I see you said you JUST bought this Good Old Games, quite literally doesn't sell a version without the downloadable content. If you don't want to install it just use a program like Inno Extract to unpack the installer and see what it contains but I guarantee it will have all of the downloadable content.

I could, but I am sure they have enough on their plate right now, and official doesn't just mean them ... developer must look in here once in a while surely, and you could say they have more power and more interest at stake. A blue passing by might see it too.

I'm in no hurry, and most likely it is just a mistake ... especially as all the other buyers are not complaining.

I have made an attempt to bring it to the attention of the powers-that-be, so done my bit.

JUST bought the GOLD version back in September.
And yes, I've not noticed a similar issue before with content, which is why I queried it.
I could do that with Inno, but as no-one here is complaining about missing content, I feel fairly certain all is okay.
However, that mistake, if it is that, should be corrected ... and the situation confirmed officially.

But you know, maybe I am the only one who noticed, and something is missing for all of us. Inno is only going to help me, if I know what it is that might be missing ... and only the devs or GOG would know that.

As far as I'm aware downloads are not personalized for each user- in other words all downloads of this game will contain the same content, barring regional restrictions. The download size is almost assuredly a typo or perhaps the file takes up different sizes on different systems.

I don't have the Gold Edition to check but it should have five HPK files in the DLC folder. I'd bet the farm that yours and all others will have this.

Lastly, this is the sort of thing that should be reported to Support- it's an error on their site. And the developers abandoned this game long ago so they're not going to do anything.
