I just finished the first place, the start of the campaign and, after the shootout with the three pickpockets, I get the video about the aftermath and the need to move to another neighbourhood and, after that, credits. I tried to pass them and I was in the main menu again. I do not understand. Shouldn't I be able to continue my campaign? The only option I get is New Game with only the dlc or continue from the last shootout, from which I again see the credits. Should I let them roll or something?

Had the same problem. Only thing available is the DLC missions and Maine Ave again, can't continue or anything. Super annoying, but at least I didn't buy the game or I'd be really pissed

Same problem here. Completed the first mission of the main campaign and the credits start rolling. Letting them roll until the end doesn't help by the way. I end up in the main menu either way and can't continue the campaign.

I've never installed and played an earlier version of Omerta, so it must be a bug in the latest version 1.07.

Two versions of this game for sale here and both have a game breaking bug.

Made a clean install yesterday with the new files (main game and japanes addon). I've just played the first scenario and have been able to start second one witout problems. I launched however without using the shortcut...not sure if this could be the problem.

Shortcut isn't the issue.
With the JI DLC installed the original game completes the 1st mission normally. Without it, the game is broken.

To be clear:

I only tested the 1st mission, but at the moment it appears that the combination of the 1st 2 might work properly.

So now I can't play the game because I don't want to buy the Japanese Incentive. I might consider it if it's ever on sale for $1.99 :-) or free, free would be good!

I'm guessing that v1.08 is now our only hope as long as they don't assume that everybody has the Japanese Incentive.

Same problem here : when I finished the first mission, the game ended. A little sad : I wanted to give the game a chance and waited for the patch 1.07...

Has support been informed of the issue? At this rate, I'm glad I didn't have to shell out anything to get this game.

I've opened a support ticket yesterday evening. No reply yet. I'll post an update as soon as I receive a reply from them.

EDIT: Just received an e-mail that the problem is being investigated by the product team, so GOG is aware of the issue. Let's hope they can solve it themselves, because I'd rather not have to rely on Kalypso for a quick solution...

Not sure, but the 4 DLC version might be a GOG exclusive as it's not on Steam. Still it doesn't explain the bug as it´s apparently not in the Steam 1,07 version.
