I was just going to talk about one thing but reckoned while I`m here I may as well stick all my pet peeves togther.

1. Can we have a Crouch ability? Y`know just crouch? I`ve gotten in some tight spots lurking about caves and there are areas where I could get through if I crouched...

2. Can you give us a look/left right ability when in the spaceship? It`s kind of unimmersive being rigidly stuck to forward view. Please allow it to be mouse viewable like when on the ground, as well as on the joypad (I don`t use the joypad but for those that do). Track IR compatibility would be real nice. At the very least have a port/starboard look.

3. Ability to stick my own (or custom) name in the game without needing GOG Galaxy, please.

4. Ability to custom our ships with a name/paintjob?

5. A little more life on Space Stations would be nice.... :)

That`ll do for now.... maybe other people have requests as well.

Thanks. The missed crouch seems an oversight to me. It would work very well in this, I think.
Yup good suggestions. I too want crouch and being able to name your ship.

Other suggestions or bugs I have (trying to keep it to minor stuff that shouldn't be too hard to change):

1) Bug: on the dashboard of your ship, it will show your ship's name and sometimes shows a different ship name, and eventually changes back to your own.

2) Suggestion: Look down (along with left/right) in cockpit to make landing easier.

3) Some way to set your own waypoint on planets.

4) Compass while on planets. I think many/most solid planets would have a magnetic pole, though radiation storms could throw it off. I find that a lot of times on a planet I want to land and keep moving forward in one direction, but inevitably get turned around, and sometimes end up going back to the same landmarks I've already visited.

5) More save slots to rotate through and/or manual saves, so that we aren't hosed if our save slots have us in a bad place.

6) Bug: If you remap a key such as E for interact or W for ship forward, the game prompts do not update and still show E/W even though that is not what you have set.

7) Alternate color choices for the white cursor wheel that spins around when you click apply or click on something. Those of us with older eyes sometimes have a harder time distinguishing the two shades of white. I know a number of games let you change the cursor size/shape/color, so this should be doable. Instead of white and light gray, I'd like the option for maybe white and something darker so there is more contrast.

8) Perhaps the ability to sell right from your ship inventory when you are a galactic market stall, at least if your ship is in close enough range that you can auto-transfer items when in your exosuit inventory.

9) A toggle HUD feature so we can disable it for screenshots. There's already a "show HUD" key.. so close.

I also would like to see a list of all the words I've learned in a language, but that might be kinda messy.

Anyway, I'm having fun.

Good suggestions, pal.
What could really make this game more interesting down the line is if they create new random seeds.
Either just blow the whole galaxy up and create a new one or add a whole new galaxy to visit next to the current one.
Funny enough you could make this game into a speed runner as well, specially if you add hardcore mode.

Still plenty that I'd like to see fixed under the hood before extra features would interest me though.
Something needs to be done with waypoints. It's really annoying when a floating waypoint is right next to my aiming cursor. It's usually a monolith waypoint. It would be nice if we could disable to onscreen waypoints and just have them in the above portion of the screen. And custom waypoints would be nice too.
I'm able to sell directly from Ship Inventory when I'm in the Space Station or I land on the pad at the planetary trade facilities. If you land on the ground, it doesn't seem to work but on the pad it will.

As an aside, I would like to see a better landing system at those facilities. It seems to miss the pad a lot of the time.

Another change I'd like to see to waypoints is colors better reflecting if this is a previously visited site or not.

I've noticed this with monoliths and outposts. An unvisited monolith has a purple icon, and an unvisited outpost a red icon. Visited ones have icons that are light purple and gray, respectively. But oftentimes I'll see a purple or red icon, start flying toward it, and when I get close it turns to light purple or gray. The lack of a compass reference points exacerbates this as you'll waste time flying to what you expect to be a new place, and it is one you've been to before. On top of that I've had a bug sometimes where monoliths will keep the darker purple icon even though I've already learned all the words from the site.
I believe the free look with the mouse while flying the ship has been mentioned, and I would like to see joystick support.

Indeed. I wish there was a clearer way to tell if I've already been to a particular location.

Do the question marks always indicate that a location has not been discovered yet?

Yes and if its grey you have been there

Monoliths will shoot a light into sky if you have visted
If you want your suggestions heard by the Devs I would post it in the Steam forums because most developers mostly ignore the gog forums or some developers have their own website with a forum like the creators of Subnautica.

Thanks, I thought the light came from the save points. I remember seeing multiple lights on the same planet. I didn't think they were all monoliths.

It always seems short-sighted that game Devs would give a thumbs up to put their AAA games on GOG, but not have anyone have a look to see how it`s faring. I`m sure at least one guy checks it out. If I was a games Dev I`d check every avenue where my game was rleased to get a good idea of how things were going. But I guess I will post on Steam as well then....

Not sure if Steam will let me though since I was banned from them years ago when they were in Hitler mode.
