It's good to know that the flight decks on starships are reasonably well modeled. I'm also glad no pirates showed up at this inconvenient time.

No idea how it happened (jump into the ship from 132 relative or something??) or how to get it back to a normal view except to land it, exit, and re-enter. Made for a tense approach to the local space station.

Recently I was flying above a planet's surface approaching a habitable base when the camera zoomed from out of my cockpit to the inside of the base in a similar way that the camera positions itself when entering dialogue or using a terminal. After that I couldn't do anything except press shift and hear the sound of the afterburner on my ship outside.
I think this bug has been around since the game's release, it only seems to affect some cockpits though.
