HypersomniacLive: Changelog for Update 1.77 (added 25 January 2019):

Yeay :)

I hope they fix the worlds that changed to look like ass since 1-2 big patches ago next :(
My launch thrusters (I have the 'efficiency' upgrade) now lose 20% every launch with this new patch.

Also, the community events have vanished (no more quicksilver dailies).

Still a big that keeps putting 'buried technology module' icons on the screen everywhere... on planets, in space, while I'm warping, etc. Madness.

And, of course, 'Assault a Freighter' missions still don't work.

Other than that, I've not tried multiplayer, so I've no idea how well it works.

To the best of my recollection the 20% per launch with the efficient thruster upgrade has been there for a while. It seems that it was much better (less fuel) right after NEXT dropped but it's been as it is now for quite some time.

The current community event has run its course. There may be others but there isn't one active now.

The ghost icon is a genuine bug. It's not only buried tech but that's the easiest to trigger it. To avoid it, after you dig up the buried tech set a temporary marker with the analysis visor anywhere on the ground nearby and then walk over it. The bug seems to be associated with setting a highlight on an icon and then destroying or picking up the thing the icon was associated with.

Thanks. I'll give that last a whirl. :)
Can someone please tell me what happened to 1.78 (non MP)? I *know* I had it--it fixed my GPU driver problems, in fact. Now it's gone--no mention of it anywhere--stripped from the Hello Games Update log--stripped here--but I surely did have it!...;) Feel as though I am going bananas! First time I have seen this happen...;)

EDIT: OK, it's not a problem...;) 1.77 non-MP runs fine with my GPU drivers--they must have futzed around with the release numbers after the GOG multiplayer was initially released--no problems, as 1.77 non-MP is now running as well as 1.78 non MP did during the *apparently* short time I had it! Wild--I can't be the *only* one who saw it--cue Twilight Zone theme...;)
