I no longer see the bright line showing the next planet to jump to. Is there a way to re-enable it? I see a bunch of duller thin lines connecting planets but I've no idea in which direction to go.

Nevermind. I see the Galactic Center path but I'm still not sure which way to go on the Atlas Path.

The Galactic Map stinks. You have all most zero control. The time before my last jump it had a "pres E for the nearest planet. The next it's not there and pressing E does nothing. Also it's natural to "left click" so what's the Gal Map do, you click on anything it sends you there. No info, or "do you want to go" just you clicked and it sucks to be you. Different keystrokes take you flying off to who knows where. Why can't you just look around. I did once, but it seems to be like the rest of the game, the controls are there to my life hell. Like Herrick said the path is gone and who knows how or if it will come back. The way the map doesn't work, you really need that path, so you can just accept the path, instead of "let me pull my hair out trying to pick a system.

In this review the writer said at a certain point in the game, the Atlas Path just disappeared. Hope that doesn't happen to me!

Once you move away from the fringe a bit you should stumble over space anomalies. They are little stations with two aliens inside. One of them can refresh your atlas path to the nearest atlas station.

I was making a video of the last warp, and had all that trouble not being able to pick a system. Well, when I watched it I saw an anomaly. A lot of good it does you if you can't pick it, just the screen bouncing all over the place because you are pressing keys trying to get the dam thing to work. Then click on something and "sucks to be you" that's where you go. Who thought that was a good system?

Thanks zarqoon. I came across an anomaly shortly after posting this thread.

There is literally a 'free mode' in the map that lets you move anywhere in it and click on any star...
Dudes! You can select yourself 3 paths! Free, center of the galaxy or next anomally (or something like that).
Clic Q or E for select what you want, or left clic to be in free directly, and select the star you want with your mouse.

I just noticed that last night. Someone posted E would zoom out and I was trying to to do that. I noticed last night that E changes the "mode," It's at the top of the screen. so I was hitting E hoping to zoom out. All I was doing was changing the mode, which accounts for the screen bouncing all over the place. BTW S zooms out. I think One of the modes was going the the center. I don't see why the Dev's couldn't have put out at least a keyboard hotkey list.
The worst map ever in a space game.
I wanted to see if - at leat- my discovered planets show up on my path, so I can go back if I wanted to.
Also, it's hard to figure out how far I can jump. Hello Games should have just sticked with creating games
for kindergarten community.
