Hi there,

i am using an surface pro 7 with the "not so great" Iris GPU an i5-1035G4 1.50 Ghz and 16gb of Ram and while i am in the first "room" i would like to lower my settings (Resolution) but the game simply crahes before i can make a change and goes back to gog galaxy.

Anybody with a helpfull tip around here?

I really would like to play this game along the old classics and newer "old school" shooters.

Thanks in advance for your time and help

As suggested by one of the developers on another post, disabeling wifi helped. But this is really odd.
GAME is fantastic! But runs pretty poor on my system. Even on low. Well my gpu is not really something to write home about. BUT i hope that it will get somehow an performance boost until the game finally releases to the public and leaves early access.

If someone has a better solution then turning of your wifi it will be greatly appreciated.

The minimum requirements for Nightmare Reaper require a dedicated graphics card. It doesn't seem like the surface has that. You shouldn't expect the game to run well below minimum requirements. The game has very costly features that explain the performance demands. Performance will be improved during early access, but you shouldn't expect to get much better.

The reason the game is closing this way with WIFI ON is probably because Galaxy thinks you lost your internet connection and is closing the game. Probably because of spotty WIFI. If you start the game manually, not through Galaxy, it might solve the issue. You might have to completely close Galaxy.

Thanks for the response!

Yeah i thought i may have luck that it would run at least fine on my surface.
Don´t have that many option. I got an old desktop with an i3 and an 750 ti lying around.
Guess he could do the trick ;)

BTW the Surface has the intel iris so it is better than the normal onboard gpu (but seems not for your game ;))

I have to say the game looks just way waaaay better in motion. The atmosphere is brilliant. The FX (like the shadows, use of light and darkness) the creepy creatures... WOW! I should have bought it earlier...

Well know i am hooked but my specs won´t do it justice..
Are you planning on doing some console versions as well? I am a portable guy (since the surface) so i would love this game on my switch!

Even better make it physical!

Keep upt the great work, stay save and optimize it even further for my "toaster" to run!

Best wishes Tobi

PS: My Wifi is pretty constant in my office, so i don´t know if that is my wifi or gog or the game :/

Ports and other stuff would be nice, but we're trying to be successful on PC first.
