I went in expecting an adventure game and suddenly found myself in the platformer. I really loathe platforming and would not play a game with it as the main mechanics, but I could stomach it if it happens only once or twice.

It isn't a platformer per se, its more centered in stry and exploration of the characters' problems and life

Well, fairly talking, that's really the hardest jump there is in the game, and the story is really worth it, sorry to hear that something so early made someone miss this fantastic game.
And i tend to resurrect dead posts because i see nobody ever answered and don't repair on the date LOL
