the game did not started with the default location of the registry...

the gog installer put everything in :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mithis]
the game failed to work

in reverse if you enter the keys to this location below

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mithis]


It works...

I see Steam puts Nexus in that registration directory that fixed the problem. I haven't bought Nexus from GoG.

Did you submit this in a support ticket?

Hm, I don't seem to have any problems on my system (Win 7 64 bits). As book99 already said should create a support ticket. And please let us know once GOG has sent you a reply.

This error is probably connected to an active UAC and should not happen if you run both installer and game as administrator.
