When attempting to load Nexus, I keep getting a requestor that says:
M:Nexus - The Jupiter . . . \nexus.exe is not a valid Win32 application
[OK]

Click 'OK' and the requestor goes away, but the game won't load. Same problem no matter which Icon I try to load from (Desktop GOG Icon, nexus.exe icon in Windows Explorer, etc.)

Never had this problem before with any other game I got from GOG - Stronghold HD was the most recent, and runs OK.

Running Windows XP, rest of system meets or exceeds specifications/recommendations.

Nexus Downloaded and installed successfully (at least it said so). Restarted computer after installation.

Any ideas about what gives?????

Out of curiosity guys, do you have a system with a newer version of windows (8 or later) to try it on?

The new owners of Nexus updated Nexus to run on later systems which may have made it incompatible with earlier versions of windows (just a theory at this point). If that is the case, you'll need to get hold of an original retail copy to run on XP :(
